Neurological Physiotherapy

Damages to your central nervous system, including your brain and spinal cord, means that the messages from your brain is interrupted. This can result in loss of movement and sensation, uncoordinated movement, weak and floppy muscles, spasm and tremor.

People with neurological conditions may have difficulties with their physical functions including mobility, muscle strength, range of movement, loss of function and balance.

The NHS clinical guidelines highly recommend the use of physiotherapy for any individual that has neurological condition. The first 3 month is vital for recovery so intensive physiotherapy should be done.
